Call the monitoring company.  Give them your account number and password and let them know it was an accidental alarm.

All systems contain a backup battery which will take over the operation of the system upon an AC power loss. The length of the battery is determined by the size of the system and the number of devices connected to it. A minimum of 8 hours is standard. This can be silenced by pressing the reset button or holding down the 9 key for 3 seconds

Your system will continue to operate, however the control panel may not be able to dial out to the monitoring station unless you've requested that we install a second dialer on a separate line or if you have a backup radio. Backup radios have increased in popularity over the past few years. The backup radio will transmit a radio signal to a nearby antenna tower in the event of an alarm on your system. In addition, the radio checks itself in with Central Station several times per day.

Yes, you can change user codes anytime you wish. The procedures to do this can be found on the preceding page with the alarm operation manuals. If you use your alarm codes as your passcode, please remember to send the new information to us so we can update your Central Station Information.
